Character/personage (nf) - Character endorsed by a Krumper to express different dance styles and a variety of emotions. It can be described as the sum of technique and attitude. Characters can be loud, goofy, dominant, etc., and are expressed through clothing and body language. A dancer's character becomes apparent during the second of three levels of intensity (Buck). It is often mistakenly thought that a person can embody different characters. This is not true, although a dancer may have different attitudes in their character.
